Upon teaching as a lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley; the California College of the Arts, (CCA); and the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), Stephen Phillips accepts a position as an Assistant Professor of Design at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly).

Stephen Phillips lectures at the Akademie Der Buildenden Kunste, Institute for Architecture, sponsored by the Frederick and Lillian Kiesler Private Foundation and Museumsquartier in Vienna, on “Creative Evolution: Becoming Kiesler.”

Stephen Phillips receives an Artist-in-Residence Grant, resident and research fellowship to study, design, and exhibit his work at the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna.
